Solid thick real pinewood slats
The most important thing about the bed frames is the slats. Solid pine wood slats with correct spacing will give the best support for your spring mattress.Ā
If the slats are flexible and too thin and flexible - the mattress will deform and even void the warranty. All our fabric bed frames come with 25mm thick strong solid pine wood slats with a gap of no more than 9 cm between each slat. All the double / queen / king frames also come with 2 steel middle support bars - not 1. Our bed frames are built tough, and they last
Height of the base from the floorĀ
The ideal height for the bed frame is 36 cm from the floor. Most modern mattresses are 25 - 35 cm thick, so if your bed frame is at least 36cm high, this will give you a combined height of 60 cm - 70 cm - perfect for sliding in and out of the bed with out having to crouch. It retains the shape of your mattress and minimises squeaking, creaking, sliding and more. With the right bed frame, you sleep soundly without any disturbance at all. Our frames also come with steel middle support bars with legs - which securely holds the solid pine slats in place and take weights up to 300kg.

I purchased this earlier in the year and love it so much. In light of that, my granddaughter has now purchased this one and my daughter is saving for one as well. It is our favourite bed. The only issue I have is that the mattress does not spring back as fast as I would like so it has a dip where I sleep. But it is still a comfortable bed.
This base fitted my needs perfectly - easy to assemble for one person and worked well with my decor. Happy with this purchase

Such great value and looks great. Instructions could.have been a little mpre detailed- but we worked it out.
Purchased for my son, his bedroom is not roomy enough for more than one set of drawers. The drawers underneath are sufficient. Bedbase looks great too.
It's a solid well made product. It takes some time to assemble, using a battery drill is a necessity, but worth the effort for the end result with this bed base. It's an affordable price point, I have a queen bamboo mattress on it which is a good combination, and the storage room with the three drawers is a plus in the base.
